Privacy notice
Effective August 29, 2026. This notice covers the Next Raid website and closed-alpha waitlist.
What we collect
When you request alpha access, we collect the email address you enter. You may also choose to provide your primary game mode, experience level, one short product-research answer, and a short free-text feature request. Please keep personal or sensitive details out of that free-text box; we only need the feature, not information about you. We store bounded campaign parameters and the referring page so we can understand which launch links work. The form includes a hidden anti-spam field.
Separately from the form, we count how the site is used: which pages you open, which sections you reach, which buttons you press, which FAQ questions you open. Those events carry no email address, no name and no account. They are grouped only by a random identifier that lives in your browser for the current tab and is discarded when you close it — it is not a cookie, it does not follow you to another site or another visit, and it cannot be connected back to a signup or to you. We use it for one thing: to see where people give up before joining the waitlist, so we can fix that part of the page.
Why we use it
We use this information only to manage the Next Raid closed alpha, contact you about access, and understand aggregate interest in the product. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, build advertising profiles, or use it for an unrelated newsletter.
Legal basis and retention
You provide the information voluntarily when asking for alpha access. You can withdraw that request at any time. We keep waitlist records only while the closed-alpha programme is active or until you ask us to delete yours, then remove or anonymise them unless a longer period is required by law.
Service provider and transfers
Cloudflare hosts this website and the waitlist database on our behalf. Network and security processing may occur in the regions described by Cloudflare's service terms. The usage events described above are stored in the same Cloudflare database as the waitlist, and a copy is sent to PostHog, hosted in the European Union, so that we can read them. PostHog is configured without cookies, without autocapture and without session recording; it receives the anonymous events only, never your email address or anything else you type into the form. Your IP address is used to resolve a country and is then discarded rather than stored, and the events reach it through this domain rather than a third-party address. We do not use session replay, advertising pixels, or advertising profiles.
The desktop app
The current Next Raid app keeps its core planning data on the player's device. It can read recognised quest lifecycle messages from local Escape from Tarkov logs, without storing copies of raw logs. The optional screenshot workflow observes game-created filenames and does not read or upload screenshot pixels. The app does not request game credentials, inspect the stash, intercept game traffic, or read game memory.
Your choices
You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your waitlist record, or withdraw your request to join the alpha. Depending on where you live, additional data-protection rights may apply.
