Supported locations, and how far each one is validated

Next Raid draws navigation for ten Escape from Tarkov locations and plans quests for every task-bearing map in the game. This page publishes what exists per map, and what has not been confirmed in the live game yet, so you can tell how far to trust each part of it.

02What "not calibrated" honestly means

All 429 positioned records in the current content pack, across landmarks, extractions, quest routes and farm presets, carry a flag saying whether a human has confirmed them against the live game. Right now that flag is false on every single one. None has been walked and checked in a real raid.

That is not the same as guesswork. The positions are transformed from pinned public tarkov.dev map geometry, which is accurate enough to answer "which end of the map, and roughly where". That is enough to plan an order and pick a direction. It is not pathfinding, and it says nothing at all about what is safe.

So treat it as orientation

A route in Next Raid tells you the sequence and the rough direction of your objectives. It does not know about walls, cover, elevation, locked doors or where people fight. Distances are relative positions on a map image, not metres, and are deliberately never labelled as metres.

The application marks this state internally too, not only on this page. Guidance that has not been physically confirmed is shown as unverified at the point where you use it, so the label stays attached to the advice.

A known specific caveat

On Woods, the RUAF Gate extraction sits just outside the published bounds of the map render. Rather than moving the marker to a more convenient spot, we clamp it to the map edge and flag it as clamped. The exit is real; the marker is at the edge of what the map image can show, pending calibration.

03Planning goes wider than navigation

Drawing routes and planning quests are separate capabilities. Quest planning covers every task-bearing location rather than only the ten above: dependencies, required keys, trader and objective names, and which map a task belongs to.

These snapshots contain no map art, no coordinates, no routes, no extraction availability and nothing about any player. They are the quest catalogue, held locally so the planner works with no connection.

04What is deliberately not covered

The planner will not reuse another map's coordinates or invent an extraction to fill the gap. Where navigation is unavailable it says so, and falls back to planning without a route.

05Where the map art comes from

The map backgrounds are community work from tarkov-dev-svg-maps, used under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 and recoloured for a dark interface. Projection metadata comes from the MIT-licensed tarkov.dev frontend. Full attribution, the changes made, and the license terms are on the third-party notices page.

Next Raid is an unofficial companion. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Battlestate Games and ships no game assets.

Calibration is what the alpha is for

Turning 429 authored positions into confirmed ones needs people playing real raids and telling us where the guidance was wrong. That is most of what the closed alpha is.
